Chief of Data Science

As the Chief of Data Science, Gerry leads a multidisciplinary team of Machine Learning engineers, statisticians and informatics experts. This group develops proprietary machine-learning algorithms and focuses on digesting newly published information to keep predictions up-to-date. They also focus on developing new features that enhance the accuracy and usability of predictions, as well as exploring new data-driven solutions to aid the pharmaceutical industry in making informed decisions under uncertainty. Gerry also serves as a Machine Learning instructor at Constructor Learning in Zurich and as an advisor and instructor at Big Blue Data Academy in Athens. Prior to his current role, Gerry was a quant trader for several years with expertise in developing sophisticated quantitative trading models across diverse asset classes. Gerry holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and has completed advanced studies in Computer Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. Gerry finds enjoyment in adventurous outdoor activities, whether it's kitesurfing or carving down the slopes of the mountains.
