When did you start at Intelligencia AI? And how did you find out about the company and role?
I joined Intelligencia AI four years ago after learning about the company through a mutual connection—one of my former collaborators at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, who also happens to be one of our current scientific advisors. At the time, the company had just completed a successful Series A fundraise, and I was curious to learn more. I was immediately intrigued by the company’s mission and scope, which aligned closely with what I was looking for at that point in my life.
Having recently returned to Europe after a decade in the U.S., I was eager to stay connected to the healthcare space, but in a more strategic, business-oriented role. Intelligencia AI offered the perfect opportunity to do just that. I applied for the role, was fortunate to receive an offer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
What inspired you to say ‘yes’ to your first/current role at Intelligencia AI?
Beyond the company’s mission and its relevance to an industry I’m passionate about, what truly stood out to me early on were the conversations I had with the co-founders and the rest of the team. I met a group of hard-working, driven and genuinely inspiring people who were clearly united by a shared purpose. While many aspects of the business have evolved during my time at Intelligencia AI, that sense of collective drive and camaraderie has remained constant.
Working with people you genuinely enjoy and respect makes a world of difference as it fuels motivation, fosters creativity, and deeply shapes how you show up every day.
Could you briefly explain your role and what a typical day/week/month might look like for you?
While my official title is Customer Success Manager, in practice it extends far beyond traditional account support. Day-to-day, my responsibility is to ensure that our customers can effectively use our solutions, navigate complex data requests, and overcome long-standing workflow challenges that require our proprietary data, domain expertise, and strategic guidance. I work very closely with each account, and I often say that I work for them—not just for Intelligencia AI—because my role is to ensure their success with our products and services. When their work moves faster and more efficiently because of our support, that’s the measure of success.
What’s your favorite part of your role and working at Intelligencia AI?
I truly appreciate the opportunity to meet new people, understand the challenges they face, and work together to find practical solutions. I particularly value those initial conversations with customers when we first begin to understand why they’ve come to us, and what they’re hoping to achieve. It’s a collaborative process that I find both interesting and rewarding. I also enjoy traveling when it’s part of the work; it adds another dimension to the experience.
What is the most rewarding part of your role?
I find it particularly rewarding when we can meaningfully impact our customers’ workflows, helping them refine their internal processes and operate more efficiently. Even on a small scale, these improvements contribute to more effective drug development and, over time, can help bring therapies to patients faster and at lower cost.
What would you say if you were to describe Intelligencia AI to your closest family and friends who may not be familiar with the industry?
I usually say that we use AI to help pharmaceutical and biotech companies make better-informed decisions about their drug portfolios, understand their competitive landscape, and strengthen their position in the areas that matter most to them.
What accomplishment have you been most proud of since working with Intelligencia AI?
Watching the company grow, both in terms of our internal team and our presence in the healthcare industry, has been a deeply rewarding experience. It has been exciting to see our work evolve and to witness the increasing impact we’re making.
Being part of that journey has been a privilege, and it gives me a strong sense of optimism for what’s ahead. I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how the next four years unfold and to contributing to the continued progress and innovation within Intelligencia.
What advice would you share with someone wanting a career or job in AI, tech, and life sciences?
Be prepared to feel part of an industry that changes rapidly, with high stakes but also very rewarding and exciting.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t stress too much, enjoy the journey, and party more!
What skills have you developed, honed, or started to build since joining Intelligencia AI? How has your role and culture here helped you grow personally and professionally?
Confrontation has never been a strong suit of mine, and while I haven’t completely mastered it, I’ve made significant progress over time. I’ve also come to deeply value the power of teamwork.
While I had learned to work independently and take ownership of my tasks during my PhD and analyst role at Goldman Sachs, my time at Intelligencia AI has taught me the importance of relying on others, delegating when needed, and taking pride in what we accomplish together. Achievements feel more meaningful when they’re the result of true collaboration rather than individual effort.
Let’s get to know you a bit more aside from work. Tell us a bit about your interests and how you spend your time
Favorite book: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Who would you want to have dinner with? They can be living or deceased, fictional or real, famous or ordinary:
Marie Curie has always been my idol, and while I know that might sound cliché, she is the sole reason I became interested in science.
To this day, she remains the purest example of intellectual brilliance, perseverance, and integrity in research. Her groundbreaking work, not only as the first woman to win a Nobel Prize but also the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields (Physics and Chemistry), continues to be a source of deep admiration and motivation for me.
If I had to choose someone living, I would say Arianna Huffington. She’s a fellow Greek who, with her education, determination, and vision, became one of the most successful entrepreneurs of her generation. She founded The Huffington Post, built it into a global media brand, and later went on to create Thrive Global, well into her 60s, demonstrating an ongoing drive to build and evolve. Even now, after all her accomplishments, she continues to innovate and contribute to conversations around well-being, leadership, and sustainable success. That kind of lifelong curiosity and zeal is truly inspiring.
Favorite place to travel: The Greek islands
Biggest fear: Falling from the ski lift
Sweet treats or savory snacks: Sweet all the way, those who know me know this very well!
